Biography

I am currently a student at Stanford University majoring in Physics. I am especially interested in the intersection between Physics and Material Science, with a focus on alternative energy materials. I am also interested in teaching in a university setting; my future goal is to become a college professor.

In my spare time, I've done research, both with the McGehee group on organic photovoltaics and with the Greer group on nickel inverse opal structures. I'm also the vice president of Stanford Dragonboat, a paddling sport. In my free time, I volunteer with Science in Service and teach classes through Stanford Splash. I'm also a big fan of Magic: the Gathering and Cards against Humanity.

I'm excited to be a Resident Tutor in Math and Physics for Serra this year! Education and teaching has been an interest of mine ever since I was little and I understand the frustration that comes from not being able to solve a problem. I'm here to help empower you to tackle those difficult concepts and be able to take on those challenges.
